Frequently Asked Questions
- 01You may benefit from physiotherapy if you’re experiencing pain, stiffness, weakness, or difficulty moving that’s affecting your daily activities. Physiotherapy can help with a wide range of issues, from sports injuries to chronic pain, posture problems, or joint conditions. If you’ve noticed that your pain isn’t improving on its own, you’re avoiding certain movements, or you’re struggling with daily activities, it’s a good time to see a physiotherapist. We’ll assess your condition, identify the root cause, and create a personalized treatment plan to help you recover safely and effectively.
- 02You do not need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist in Ontario. You can book an appointment directly. However, some extended health insurance plans may require a referral from a physician in order to reimburse your physiotherapy visits. If you’re planning to use insurance, it’s a good idea to check your plan’s requirements before your first appointment. Otherwise, you can book your appointment right away!
- 03Depending on if you are looking for standard (ex. muscle/joint) or vestibular (ex. concussion) treatment, the price and length of appointment may differ. Our rates are consistent with other home physiotherapy services in the GTA. Please contact us by phone or email and we would be happy to discuss our fee schedule with you!
- 04Yes — we understand that not everyone has access to extended health benefits, and our goal is to make physiotherapy accessible to those who need it. If you would like to learn more about our compassionate rates, please reach out to us directly to discuss this further.
